Anthony Urrutia
Founder & Club Director
Anthony has been coaching and running the club since its inception in 2023. He is a Colorado native and former collegiate basketball player and coach at the Division I, Division II, and Junior College levels. Anthony's dedication and passion for the game of basketball will help the program grow into one of the state's top clubs. His desire to promote women's basketball and develop leaders among the youth in the state of Colorado and the southwest region is his top priority.
Anthony is the founder and president of the Trilogy Management Group. TMG, specializes in player development as well as player consulting. As the head basketball trainer, he works with current NBA, WNBA, and overseas professional players. Out of these players, two have gone on to become NBA All-Stars, two have become NBA Champions, and another has gone on to become a WNBA All-Star and WNBA Champion. Anthony also works with collegiate players who are preparing for their pro careers helping them with their pre draft process. In addition to running TMG's player development and player consulting, Anthony is the founder of Trilogy Wealth Management. As president of Trilogy Wealth Management, Anthony works with his clients as well as local families in all areas of wealth management as their dedicated wealth advisor.
Anthony is a dedicated and fun loving father of two girls. His oldest daughter is high school freshman and his youngest daughter is in 5th grade.
Zenida Gutierrez
Head Coach/ Co Director
Coach Zenida has been part of the Southwest Sting program for the past three years. She’s been around the game of basketball her entire life and has a true appreciation for the game. Along with coaching, Zenida is a middle school teacher who enjoys working with young people and helping them grow both on and off the court. Before joining Southwest Sting, she helped run youth basketball camps and was a youth basketball coach in the Denver Metro area.
After receiving multiple offers to play college basketball, Zenida chose not to pursue basketball at the collegiate level. Having taken that path, Zenida developed a passion for helping high school players chase their own goals of playing in college while using her own background and experiences as a tool to empower young women, and encourage them to persevere through the challenges of the game.
