About Us
The mission of the Southwest Sting Girls Basketball Club is to provide an exceptional experience through the game of basketball for young women. We want to provide the opportunity for our girls to fulfill their dreams academically, socially, and athletically while teaching the values of hard work, team play, competitiveness, accountability, and sportsmanship.
We are committed to assisting our athletes in developing their basketball skills by providing elite level coaching and the opportunity to play against the highest level of competition. One of our most important club objectives is to provide exposure opportunities for our athletes to showcase their talent in front of NCAA college coaches.
We will teach our athletes to compete to the best of their abilities on the court and in the classroom. We want to prepare them to be upstanding citizens and to be successful beyond the basketball court. We want each one of our athletes to transcend all their goals and reach their highest potential while providing a safe and positive environment where they feel valued and excited about their accomplishments.
Our teams compete on the Puma NxtPro Girls Circuit as well as in many of the top tournaments in the country. Our circuit rosters will be made up of regional talent as well as talent from the states bordering Colorado, including Arizona and New Mexico. Our youth programs will compete under the name Colorado Sting.
The Southwest Sting Girls Basketball Club is about the game, its players, and the best the game has to offer at its highest level and purest form.
